Dave (Doc) Payne
It seems that it may be important for others to know more about me, so I will attempt to provide just such a resource.
I am 32 years old which may surprise some of those that know me, and a single father with a lovely now eleven year old girl. One of my links explains more on that situation so I will choose not to go into detail here other than she is my pride and joy. I have been self-employed for fifteen years off and on and have taken part time work to counter self-employment's shortcomings when needed. I am a businessman by trade and if computers, my main business, were outlawed or band tomorrow I would just start another company doing something else I enjoy.
I live in Chester Virginia, which is a small but wildly growing village about 20 miles south of Richmond, Virginia. I live with my daughter as I have obtained full custody of her after many many years of court battles. I have one little quiet dog, really a cat trapped in a dogs body, and a very pretty black and white part Persian cat, and one black tuxedo cat with just the paw tips white.
My hobbies, for the most part run together. I am an amateur radio operator, and KD4YCS are my calls. I enjoy electronics, taking things apart I'll never get back together (this is not the norm), and of course I like computers. That doesn't mean I program. It takes a lot more stress management than I can obtain legally for me to do that (I don't drink often), yet I like working on the hardware and software that exists. I enjoy trouble shooting, but as with anything I work with most of all is making something work that didn't when I started.
